The fun part about this course is . . . well, just about all of it because learning to dive is incredible. You breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver.
PADI Open Water Diver Course Structure
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development (online, home study or in a classroom ) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
- Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
- Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore!
To start with the PADI Open Water Course you will be given the PADI Open Water diver manual which you will be expected to read, and answer the knowledge reveiws. You will also watch 5 dvd's and then the Instructor will assess your knowledge and fill in any missed questions.
We will also take you into the swimming pool in order to complete five confined water dives. During these dives you will learn all of the skills required to dive safely and Independantly.
PADI Open Water - Ocean Training Dives
Once you have mastered the skills in confined water we will then take you for the Open Water Training dives. This is the fun part where you get to experience diving for real at many of the world class diving locations in Bali.
The PADI Open Water Diver Course Bali normally consists of four days of training. The first two days consists of the knowledge development and confined water training dives.
The last two days compromise four open water training dives where after successful completion, you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver Certification.

The cost for the PADI Open Water Diver course in Bali is as follows:
Standard PADI Open Water Course - USD455 per person.
Elearning option - USD120 per person payable to PADI, USD415 per person payable to Blue Season Bali.
